The 1994 McLaren MP4/9A-07 driven by future double Formula 1 World Champion Mika Hakkinen (165 starts, 51 podiums, 20 wins, 2 titles in 1998 and 1999) and Martin Brundle (158 starts, 9 podiums) during the 1994 season.
One of the eight McLarens fitted with the Peugeot V10 A6 3.5l engine - 740 hp. certainly the most authentic.
Five race weekends including a 5th place at the Italian Grand Prix (Monza).
Chassis number 7 was present in five of the sixteen Grand Prix of the 1994 season in the hands of Mika Hakkinen and Martin Brundle. First in the Magny-Cours during the French Grand Prix with Mika Hakkinen, then in Great Britain, in Germany, in Hungary with the Finnish driver (nr 7) and then in Italy at Monza. T-car for Mika Hakkinen on four occasions, it will finally be driven to the 5th place of his last Grand Prix after a very good race from the 12th place on the starting grid by Martin Brundle (nr8).
The car has been stored and exhibited at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking for 26 years and is now ready to go back on track. It is equipped with a Peugeot V10 A6 3.5l engine developing 740 hp as it did originally.
