The Front Carbon Bodywork Wishbone Shroud Set of the Sauber C21 is an advanced aerodynamic assembly designed to manage airflow around the front suspension geometry. Manufactured from autoclave-cured carbon fiber composite, the shrouds precisely enclose the upper and lower wishbones to minimize turbulence and reduce the suspension’s drag contribution. On the C21 chassis, these elements were optimized through extensive wind tunnel testing to improve the front axle’s aerodynamic efficiency, stabilize flow towards the underfloor and bargeboards, and generate a more consistent front downforce platform across a range of steering angles.
