In the preparation test for the 2006 season, BMW used the Sauber C24 with a BMW engine and named them BMW Sauber C24B. 

The BMW Sauber C24B was driven by Jacques Villeneuve, Robert Kubica, Nick Heidfeld & Alessendro Zanardi during the 2006 test season.
