Item: Original Piston (Omega) + Liner Judd CV V8

This original Omega piston, together with its cylinder liner, was race-used in the Judd CV V8 Formula One engine. Introduced in 1988, the Judd CV was a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter engine designed for the new F1 regulations of the era. It featured a 90° V8 architecture, capable of revving beyond 11,000 rpm, and was known for its durability and competitive performance against larger manufacturers.

The pistons, produced by Omega, were engineered from forged aluminum to withstand extreme thermal and mechanical stress, while the steel liner ensured optimal sealing and reliability under high combustion pressures. Together, they represent the core of an engine that powered privateer teams such as March, EuroBrun, and later Leyton House, leaving a strong legacy in late-1980s Formula One.

A rare component of motorsport history, this piston and liner set reflects the cutting-edge design and craftsmanship that defined the Judd CV V8.
